Gonna push hard up to Santa Barbara Triathlon on 8/27. I talked it over with my coach Brian about taking a few days off after SB Tri. He said it would be a good idea as we could have one last push to the end of the season and last few races. Next week is another fairly big one with 17+hours planned. Then the mini taper into SB Tri. I have to say I’m feeling great even with the increase in volume. I don’t really get run down like I used to. I guess that’s a sign of fitness….hopefully. Not much beyond that to really report on. Lot’s of great racing going on all over the place. I can’t wait to get back at it in two weeks.
